DESIGNING SFC SPIRITS﹛﹋Takashi Iba

    Semester : 2019 Fall
    Code : X1073﹛/﹛2 Credits

1. Objectives/Teaching method

In 2020, SFC will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of its founding. For this class, we have invited a handful of SFC alumni from around Japan and the world, who have especially embodied the SFC spirit in their roles as societal leaders. These select alumni have asked themselves throughout their everyday lives, what the ﹍spirit﹎ of this era is, and they have been continuously updating their way of thinking and doing and their selves based on this question. As they speak to you about their thoughts and experiences, we hope to give you the resources and inspiration to design the core of your own ﹍SFC Spirit﹎.

As this is a new course that would benefit all SFC students, we welcome students of all grade levels. We especially encourage first year students new to SFC to take this class alongside ﹍Policy Management Studies﹎ and ﹍Environment and Information Studies﹎.

For Fall Semester 2019, we plan on inviting the following alumni as guest lecturers:
