第05回2017/10/26 Music and the Body/Brain Study Workshop
- Reference Material(PDF)
- Lecture Slides 【履修者限定】
When I was a student, I went to a jazz bar almost
every day to play drums. I started my research because
I was curious about how skilled musicians control
their body movements. In this workshop, I will give
you a short lecture on the body/brain of musicians.
Next, you will learn how to conduct a small experiment
on fine motor skills of musicians and non-musicians.
A take-home message in this workshop is that your
curiosity in everyday life will create the future of
environment and information studies.

- Lecture Slides 【履修者限定】
The CRISPR-Cas system is very simple yet incredibly powerful
new genetic tool and allows permanent modification of genes
within organisms.
However, it is thought that this technology in the hands of
a mad person is more dangerous than all human weapons combined.
I hope that all of the SFC students should share collect
knowledge about this technique and address suitable way
for bright future with this super revolutionary transgenic
technology.

第07回2017/11/09 Creating an Alternative World -How to Survive in the Earthquake Country-
- Scenario 【履修者限定】
- Lecture Slides (PDF) 【履修者限定】
Ugh, I overslept. By now I should be leaving. I'm in such a bad
mood, I can feel it. I get ready in a hurry and run out the door.
I don't bother saying goodbye to my mom.
I get on the train and head to school. I’m running late
so I take a different route from what I usually take.
A little after being on theunfamiliar Denentoshi Line,
the train screeches and halts to an emergency stop.
Could it be an accident? Just as this crosses my mind,
the train begins to sway... It’s an earthquake!
…Now, how would you continue this story?
—— It’s not too late to make a change.
